Located just south of downtown, Midtown is one of the most centrally located and diverse neighborhoods in Houston. Since 2012, Midtown has experienced 50% population growth. Midtown Houston was originally known as Southside Place, the second residential neighborhood in Houston, and was populated by families of the original Humble Oil & Refinery Company.
Today, Midtown is considered one of the most walkable neighborhoods in the city, with over 140 restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. Beautiful city parks and amenities dot the landscape around the neighborhood. Midtown is a neighborhood for those that want to be in the center of everything, and enjoy convenient access to freeways, downtown, and many other amenities.
